Papua mengajar berkedudukan di Jayapua Papua dengan memiliki dua kelompok belajar yakni Kelompok Belajar Buper dan Kelompok Belajar Kebai-Kota Raja dengan memiliki 53 siswa.
Gerakan Papua Mengajar (Teach for Papua) is a West Papuan run and managed learning center in Jayapura, West Papua. GPM has been running since 2013 and has over 53 students with 12 volunteer-teachers. GPM is part of the movement committed to giving indigenous West Papuans access to an excellent and liberating education. Our teachers are young, passionate, and committed West Papuans who come from different backgrounds and cultures. Our students are indigenous children from low-income families who do not have access to good education due to the structural problem in the Indonesian school system, inappropriate teaching materials, and a lack of mentorship. We have been building communities of learning that are vibrant, resourceful, and culturally and politically sensitive to West Papuans and West Papua’s situation.
